Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th July 2012 Portsmouth International Tattoo Convention

The studio will be closed on the 15th/16th/17th/18th of June Simon will be “making shapes” and tattooing in Ibiza.

On the 18th and 19th of May Simon will be tattooing at the Northampton International Tattoo Convention, at time of writing he is fully booked on the Sunday but will be happy to deal with walk-ins on the Saturday.

Firstly I would like to apologise to anyone who visited the studio on these days only to find it closed, we entered the show at the last minute and with hindsight it would have been wise to inform all of the closure via the website, something we will address for future conventions.

We gathered a great deal of pictorial content which we would like to share with you. The convention went very well for us with a great deal of interest in the studio and my tattoo work, longtime client Lela was on hand for an epic sit on the Saturday.

I also picked up a couple of smaller tattoos to complete over the two days, all in all I did a lot of tattooing! I hope you enjoy this report, in pictures, from the show:

The sleeve was completed over a few sessions and was done in about 10 hours, we found the reference for the geisha and then everything else was drawn up or freehanded.

The pictures show a good example of how the tattoo looks when healed.
